What is the TDI Intro to Tech Course?
During the TDI Intro to Tech course, you will learn:
In-depth dive planning, advanced buoyancy control, gas management, situational awareness, proper trim, gear configuration and selection.
As you progress during the 3 open water dives you will be able to execute these in water skills:
Proper gear selection and preparation as well as buddy gas matching
Mastery of S.T.A.R.T, trim, finning techniques, body positioning, and diver skills
Overall demonstration of mature, sound judgment concerning dive planning and execution.
Required equipment configuration:
The Intro to Tech course can be completed on either a single cylinder with stage configuration or a twinset. Divers will also require an SMB and slate or wet notes.
