The Liberty was the first artificial wreck in Cyprus!
The Liberty was a decommissioned Russian cargo ship purposely sunk in May 2009.
The wreck lies upright on the seabed. Some of the original features can still be seen such as tooling items inside the hull.
The Liberty is a great wreck dive for all levels of divers.
Divers can also visit A 2M stainless cross and religious statue 15M off the stern of the Liberty.

The wreck has become home to many large groupers as well as hundreds of damsel fish, swimming over the sandy seabed gives divers a great opportunity to see stingrays.
The Liberty also has some of the biggest sea feathers in Europe on it.
